Trump Claims He Stopped India-Pakistan Nuclear War!

Trump boasts preventing India-Pakistan conflict with trade threats.

US President Donald Trump, claimed he prevented a war between India and Pakistan by threatening to halt trade negotiations. Addressing the media during a private visit, Trump asserted he averted “six major wars,” including one between the two nuclear-armed nations, following the collapse of Gaza ceasefire talks with Hamas.

Trump described India and Pakistan as “hotspots” on the brink of conflict, stating, “They’re in the midst of a trade deal, and yet they’re talking about nuclear weapons… I said I’m not doing a trade deal if you’re going to have war.” He warned of “nuclear dust” spreading globally, emphasizing his role in stopping such conflicts. “We stopped a lot of wars, and it’s a great honour,” he added.

India has consistently rejected Trump’s claims of mediation during Operation Sindoor, its military response to a Pakistan-backed terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. The precision strikes, conducted from May 7 to 10, ended through direct military talks between India and Pakistan, with New Delhi denying any US involvement.

Trump’s remarks, made during discussions on global conflicts, underscore his tendency to link trade leverage with geopolitical interventions, despite India’s firm rebuttals.
