Shocking Viral Video: Thai Student Brutally Attacks Teacher Over Exam Marks

Thai student attacks teacher over exam marks, video goes viral.

A disturbing incident at a private school in Thailand’s Uthai Thani province has sparked outrage after CCTV footage surfaced showing a 17-year-old student violently attacking his math teacher over a two-mark deduction on a mid-term exam. The assault, which occurred on August 5, 2025, left the teacher with a bruised left eye, head swelling, and inflamed ribs, requiring medical treatment.

According to the Bangkok Post, the Class 11 student approached the teacher to contest his score of 18 out of 20, questioning why he did not receive a perfect grade. The teacher explained that the deduction was due to his failure to show the required working process for the answers, as stipulated by the exam guidelines. She advised him to consult other teachers to verify the consistency of the grading criteria. After doing so, the student returned to the classroom and demanded a score adjustment. When the teacher refused, he became agitated, kicked a desk, and briefly left the room.

Moments later, the student returned, demanding an apology from the teacher. When she stood her ground, he launched a violent attack, repeatedly slapping, punching, and kicking her in front of over 20 classmates. The assault, captured on CCTV, has since gone viral, drawing widespread condemnation for its brutality.
