PM Modi Intensifies NDA Campaign With Kerala Rally And Thiruvananthapuram Roadshow
PM Modi’s Kerala visit includes rally and roadshow to strengthen NDA campaign before Assembly elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Kerala on Saturday to bolster the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for April 9. The visit is aimed at energising party workers and strengthening the alliance’s outreach across key constituencies in the state.
According to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) officials, the Prime Minister will begin his engagements with a public meeting in Thiruvalla, located in Pathanamthitta district. He is expected to address a large gathering at the town’s public stadium, alongside senior party leaders and NDA candidates from neighbouring constituencies. The rally is being viewed as a crucial effort to consolidate voter support in central Kerala.
Earlier in the day, Modi is scheduled to arrive at the NSS College grounds in Changanassery in Kottayam district at around 3 p.m., from where he will travel by road to Thiruvalla. Party leaders have indicated that extensive arrangements have been made to manage the large crowds anticipated at the venue, reflecting the significance of the Prime Minister’s presence in the state’s चुनाव campaign.

Later, the Prime Minister will travel to Thiruvananthapuram, where he will participate in a roadshow covering a stretch of approximately 1.5 kilometres, from Killipalam Junction to Karamana. The roadshow is expected to draw substantial participation from party workers, supporters, and members of the public, further amplifying the NDA’s campaign momentum in the state capital.
Senior BJP leaders, including Rajeev Chandrasekhar and V. Muraleedharan, are expected to accompany the Prime Minister during various segments of the visit. Their presence underscores the coordinated effort by the party’s leadership to strengthen its electoral prospects in Kerala.
The Kerala visit follows Modi’s high-profile campaign activities in Puducherry a day earlier, where he led a major roadshow to support NDA candidates. The alliance in Puducherry, which includes the BJP, the All India NR Congress led by Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, and the AIADMK, is seeking to consolidate its position in the Union Territory, highlighting the broader national push by the NDA ahead of key regional elections.
