Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a key visit to Gujarat today, marking Mahavir Jayanti with a packed agenda that spans culture, infrastructure, technology, and rural development. The visit includes major project launches and inaugurations across Gandhinagar, Sanand, and Vav-Tharad.

A major highlight of the visit is the inauguration of the Samrat Samprati Museum in Gandhinagar. The museum, dedicated to Emperor Samrat Samprati, showcases the rich heritage and evolution of Jainism through rare artefacts, manuscripts, miniature paintings, and traditional exhibits. It is located within the Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra campus and reflects India’s deep civilisational and spiritual traditions.

In the industrial hub of Sanand, Modi will also lay the foundation stone for a semiconductor facility by Kaynes Technology, marking a significant step in India’s push towards self-reliance in semiconductor manufacturing. This aligns with the government’s broader vision to strengthen domestic electronics production and technological capabilities.
