MP CM Calls for CBI Probe, Assures Support to Bhopal Woman’s Family

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday assured full government support to the family of a 33-year-old woman from Noida who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her marital home in Bhopal, officials said. The Chief Minister met the bereaved family and expressed condolences, stating that the state government would extend all necessary assistance as the case proceeds through legal and investigative channels.
He also assured that a formal request would be sent to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking a detailed probe into the circumstances surrounding the death. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the decision regarding a second post-mortem examination will be taken by the court. However, if the family wishes, the government will facilitate transportation of the mortal remains to AIIMS Delhi for further procedures and examination.
The case has drawn attention due to the unclear circumstances in which the woman was found dead inside her marital home. Authorities have not yet released detailed findings, and investigations are ongoing as police continue to gather evidence and statements related to the incident.

Officials said that multiple aspects of the case are under scrutiny, and all procedural steps are being followed in coordination with law enforcement agencies. The possible involvement of central investigative authorities is being considered in light of the family’s demand for a more comprehensive inquiry.
The state government reiterated its commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent investigation while maintaining communication with the victim’s family throughout the legal process. Further updates are expected once the court takes a decision on the post-mortem request and the CBI reference is formally initiated.
