Masked Driver Rams Delhi Assembly Gate, Leaves Bouquet, Caught Within an Hour

A masked driver forced a Tata Sierra into Delhi Assembly premises, abandoning a bouquet before arrest.

A brief but alarming security breach occurred at the Delhi Assembly on Monday afternoon when a car forcibly entered the premises through one of its gates, prompting swift action by law enforcement authorities. The incident raised concerns over security arrangements at one of the capital’s key administrative locations.

According to officials, a Tata Sierra vehicle bearing a Uttar Pradesh registration number rammed through Gate No. 2 of the assembly complex, damaging the iron gate in the process. The driver reportedly exited the vehicle after entering, placed a bouquet on a porch inside the premises, and then fled the scene, leaving security personnel startled and triggering an immediate response.

Delhi Police launched a rapid investigation, deploying teams to track the vehicle and identify the individual involved. Using CCTV footage from cameras installed within and around the assembly complex, along with forensic evidence collected at the site, authorities were able to trace the car’s registration details. Within an hour of the breach, police successfully located the vehicle and apprehended the driver, who is currently being questioned to determine the motive behind the unusual act.
