A viral video, amassing over 3.6 million views, shows an Indian content creator stunned as Class 5 students share details of their journey, with plans for future trips to Germany or Vietnam. “In our time, school trips meant India Gate,” the creator remarked, highlighting the shift in educational experiences.
The video features students explaining the trip’s cost and scale, with a Class 11 student noting that anyone who could afford it could join. The content creator praised the initiative, stating, “These travel experiences help kids grow, offering exposure to new cultures and fostering maturity.”
Social media reactions were mixed, with some lauding CMS as the “world’s biggest school” and others noting the high costs, recalling past trips like one to Egypt for Rs 2.5 lakh. One user commented, “If you have money, everything is yours,” while another called it a “very good initiative” for exposing students to diverse education systems and cultures.
