Kremlin Confirms Tuesday's Phone Call with President Trump

Putin and Trump to Discuss Ukraine War on Tuesday, Kremlin Confirms

The Kremlin confirmed today that Russian President Vladimir Putin will speak with U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday, as announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov during his daily briefing.

“Yes, it is true, such a conversation is being prepared,” Peskov told reporters, though he refrained from detailing the agenda, stating, “We never get ahead of events,” and that presidential discussions remain confidential until they occur.

The call follows Trump’s Sunday announcement aboard Air Force One, where he expressed intent to end the Ukraine war, now nearing its third year.

“We want to see if we can bring that war to an end,” Trump said, highlighting ongoing talks about “land and power plants” as key elements in negotiations. The conversation, set for less than 24 hours from now, builds on recent diplomatic moves, including a U.S.-proposed 30-day ceasefire accepted by Ukraine, signaling Trump’s push to broker peace amid escalating tensions.

The Indian Witness had already reported Trump's confirmation of this phone call. You can read the article here.
