Kai Cenat Cancels Atlanta Streamer University Event After Crowd Chaos; 3 Arrested

Kai Cenat cancels Atlanta Streamer University event after unexpected crowd chaos erupts.

Popular streamer and content creator Kai Cenat has cancelled the Atlanta in-person application event for Streamer University 2026 after an unexpectedly large crowd gathered near the planned venue, prompting police intervention and multiple arrests. The event was intended to serve as one of three offline application rounds for the free creator development programme aimed at supporting aspiring digital creators.

The event was scheduled to take place near Hank Aaron Drive in southeast Atlanta on Tuesday, with participants expected to apply in person for the fully funded initiative. According to local reports, hundreds of young creators arrived at the location, with some even camping outside overnight in anticipation. The growing crowd soon overwhelmed the area, creating logistical and safety concerns for organisers and local authorities.

Before the event, Kai Cenat had shared attendance guidelines, including age restrictions and a clear bag policy, to help manage the gathering. However, the Atlanta Police Department announced on Monday that the event would not be held at 450 Hank Aaron Drive. Cenat also informed followers that logistical challenges made it unlikely for the event to proceed as originally planned.

Despite the cancellation announcement, many attendees continued to gather around Hank Aaron Drive and nearby locations. Authorities said at least three people were arrested after individuals allegedly remained on private property and refused requests to leave. Police officers were deployed to control the crowd and prevent further disruptions in the area.

Streamer University 2026 was officially announced by Cenat on June 8 during a break from streaming. The programme is designed as a free platform to nurture emerging content creators by providing opportunities for learning, networking and career development. Earlier in 2025, Cenat had spoken about his vision of building a global creator-focused initiative before formally opening enrolment through a promotional video shared on X.

The Atlanta event followed two successful in-person application rounds held in Los Angeles and New York City. It was expected to be the third major stop in the nationwide rollout, offering aspiring creators a chance to join the programme. While the Atlanta session has been cancelled due to safety and logistical concerns, the incident highlights the growing popularity of Cenat's creator initiative and the significant public interest it has generated.
