Iranian missiles and drones struck five major Dubai landmarks despite UAE intercepting hundreds of projectiles.
At least five key sites across Dubai were hit after Iranian missile and drone strikes were intercepted, sparking fires, debris, and panic in the city. Dubai International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, Burj Al Arab, and several other locations reported damage, with emergency response teams rushing to contain fires and assist affected individuals. The strikes followed escalating US-Israel military operations in Iran, prompting retaliatory actions from Tehran.
Dubai Airports confirmed an incident at Dubai International Airport (DXB), stating that emergency response teams were immediately deployed. The attack caused four injuries, all of whom received urgent medical care. Authorities emphasized that the situation is under control and pledged to provide timely updates as more information becomes available, while coordinating closely with relevant agencies to maintain operational safety.
Debris from intercepted drones caused a minor fire at the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel, with authorities confirming that the damage was limited to the building’s outer facade. Smoke and evacuations were reported as alarms sounded throughout the area. Officials urged the public not to circulate outdated or unverified footage, citing the need to rely on official sources for accurate information on ongoing incidents.
