Indian couple, terminally ill son die in London fall.
A tragic incident in London has drawn international attention after an Indian-origin family of three was found dead following a fall from a high-rise residential building, in what authorities are treating as a suspected murder-suicide case. The deceased have been identified as Aditi Paralkar, aged 47, her husband Rakesh Paralkar, also known as Robin, aged 46, and their nine-year-old son Sid, who was of Indian origin.
The incident reportedly occurred on May 27 at the Highpoint tower block in Elephant and Castle, a 45-storey luxury residential building in south London. According to reports, the family fell from the 36th floor of the building. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the deaths, with early reports suggesting it may have been a case of murder-suicide. Authorities have not issued a final determination and inquiries are ongoing.
The couple had reportedly moved to the United Kingdom in the early 2000s after completing their education in India and had built careers in consulting and corporate sectors. Rakesh worked in finance, while Aditi held senior positions in the construction industry. The family was said to be financially well-established and living in a high-end apartment complex with rents reportedly reaching several thousand dollars per month.

Their son Sid was described in reports as having severe health complications, including a kidney disease and learning difficulties. He was partially handicapped, unable to speak, and required long-term medical care. Some reports have suggested that the family had been struggling with his ongoing medical condition, though official confirmation of motive has not been established.
The family had no immediate relatives in London, according to reports, and were believed to have been living privately while managing their professional commitments and their son’s care. The case has prompted further investigation by local authorities, who are working to establish the full sequence of events leading to the tragedy. Officials have urged caution in drawing conclusions until the investigation is complete, as multiple aspects of the case remain under review, including the medical and personal circumstances surrounding the family.
