Goa to Host 10th Ayurveda Day Focusing on Global Health and Sustainability
Ayurveda Day 2025 in Goa to spotlight India’s global wellness vision.
The 10th Ayurveda Day will be celebrated on September 23, 2025, at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Goa, marking a significant shift to a fixed calendar date, announced Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav. Departing from the tradition of aligning with Dhanvantari Jayanti, this year’s event underscores India’s commitment to promoting Ayurveda as a global healthcare solution, according to a statement from the Ayush Ministry.
Speaking at the Conference of Senior Doctors at Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, Jadhav highlighted Goa’s selection as the host due to its international appeal and deep-rooted wellness culture, making it an ideal stage for this milestone event. The AIIA in Goa, a state-of-the-art institution, symbolizes India’s dedication to integrative and globally relevant healthcare.
Themed “Ayurveda for People and Planet,” the 2025 Ayurveda Day emphasizes sustainability and modern healthcare solutions. The event will feature nationwide activities in India and global initiatives in collaboration with Indian missions, international universities, and wellness organizations. Following last year’s success, when Ayurveda Day reached 150 countries, this year’s celebration is expected to engage an even broader international audience.
