Four tech professionals die in Uttarakhand road accident.
Four technology professionals from Delhi died and three others were injured after their car collided with a stationary truck in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. The group was travelling to Jim Corbett National Park in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, as part of a company-organised holiday when the accident occurred in the early hours of the morning.
According to police, 12 employees of a Delhi-based technology company had started their journey in two separate vehicles. Seven people were travelling in the car that met with the accident, while the remaining five members of the group, travelling in another vehicle, escaped unharmed.
The deceased were identified as Abhishek Agnihotri, 30, Kartik, 24, Neeraj, 24, and Gulbuddin, 35. Police said Abhishek Agnihotri was driving the car at the time of the crash. Three of the victims died on the spot, while Gulbuddin succumbed to his injuries later after being taken to hospital.

The accident took place around 5 am on the Swar-Tanda road in Rampur district. Police personnel had to use a cutter to break open the damaged vehicle and rescue the injured passengers and recover the bodies. The three survivors were initially admitted to the district hospital before being referred to Delhi for further medical treatment.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the accident may have occurred after the driver allegedly fell asleep while driving, causing the car to crash into the rear of a stationary truck on the road. Rampur Superintendent of Police Somendra Meena visited the accident site and reviewed the rescue and investigation efforts.
Police have sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem examination, and further legal proceedings are underway. Authorities are continuing their investigation to establish the exact circumstances that led to the collision and ensure necessary action in the case.
