Faridabad on High Alert! Haryana Police Launch Massive Search Drive
Terror module of doctors linked to JeM busted near capital.
Haryana Police on Tuesday launched massive search operations across Faridabad after uncovering a staggering 2,900 kilograms of explosives and inflammable material stashed in rented rooms belonging to a Kashmiri doctor — just hours before Monday’s deadly car bomb blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that claimed nine lives.
Investigators have now established preliminary links between the Faridabad terror module and the high-intensity explosion that ripped through a moving vehicle near the Red Fort metro station, with sources confirming that timing, logistics, and recovered material suggest the seized explosives were part of a larger plot targeting the capital.
Eight individuals, including three highly qualified doctors — Dr Muzammil Ganaie alias Musaib from Pulwama, Dr Adeel, and Dr Shaheena Shahid — have been arrested for running a sophisticated white-collar terror network affiliated with Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, operating across Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

The main accused, Dr Muzammil, a faculty member at Al Falah University in Dhauj for the past three-and-a-half years, had rented two rooms under false pretenses through an auto-rickshaw driver who was paid by a local cleric. Police teams are now permanently stationed at the university, interrogating staff, faculty, and students while combing the entire Dhauj police station area for additional caches and accomplices.
Among the seized items are 358 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate, a Krinkov assault rifle with magazines, a pistol, over 90 live rounds, remote circuits, timers, batteries, detonators, and other bomb-making equipment — enough to carry out multiple large-scale attacks. With the Red Fort blast occurring within 24 hours of the massive recovery, security agencies are racing against time to neutralize what appears to be one of the most dangerous terror modules uncovered near Delhi in years.
