Ex-JPMorgan Banker Reportedly Sought Legal Chatbot Help In Rape Complaint Case
Ex-JPMorgan banker used legal chatbot in rape allegation case.
A former JPMorgan Chase banker has filed a revised lawsuit accusing a senior executive of sexual assault, adding new anonymous witness statements and alleged supporting evidence, including claims that he previously consulted a legal chatbot for guidance on his case.
The complaint, filed in the Manhattan Supreme Court and later amended this week, alleges misconduct by JPMorgan executive Lorna Hajdini involving incidents that reportedly took place in 2024. The accuser, identified under the pseudonym “John Doe,” claims he was drugged and sexually assaulted on multiple occasions after the two began working together. JPMorgan Chase has strongly denied all allegations, calling the claims “entirely fabricated.”
According to court filings and media reports, the revised complaint includes additional statements from anonymous witnesses who allegedly observed inappropriate interactions between the two, including physical closeness at a public event and a separate instance in which Hajdini was reportedly seen kissing the accuser in public. The filing also claims the plaintiff is suffering from PTSD as a result of the alleged incidents.

The lawsuit further alleges that the accuser had previously sought advice from an online legal chatbot in mid-2024, describing similar claims and asking whether he might have a valid legal case. The inclusion of this detail has added another unusual dimension to an already high-profile and closely watched dispute within Wall Street circles.
JPMorgan Chase has reiterated that an internal investigation found no evidence supporting the allegations and stated that the complainant did not fully cooperate with its inquiry. The accused executive has also denied any wrongdoing, with her legal representatives asserting she never engaged in inappropriate conduct with the plaintiff or visited the locations described in the lawsuit.
The case, which has undergone rapid filings and withdrawals in court over the past week, continues to develop as both sides present conflicting accounts. The accuser is seeking damages for emotional distress, lost earnings, and reputational harm, while the bank maintains that the claims lack merit and are unsupported by evidence.
