ED Conducts Searches Across Delhi-NCR In Earth Infrastructures Money Laundering Case
ED raids Earth Infrastructures, seizes cash, jewellery in money laundering case.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted extensive search operations in a money laundering investigation linked to Earth Infrastructures Ltd and its associated group entities, leading to the seizure of cash, jewellery, bullion, and luxury items, officials said on Friday.
The raids were carried out on April 10 by the ED’s Delhi Zonal Office under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. A total of 10 premises across Delhi and Gurugram linked to the company’s directors, promoters, and associated firms were searched during the operation.
During the searches, officials reportedly recovered approximately ₹6.3 crore in cash, jewellery worth around ₹7.5 crore, along with silver bullion and high-end luxury watches. The agency said the seizures are part of an ongoing probe into alleged diversion and laundering of funds collected from homebuyers and investors.

The investigation originated from five FIRs registered by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police, which accused the company and its officials of cheating, criminal breach of trust, and conspiracy. The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has also filed a separate criminal complaint under Section 447 of the Companies Act against the promoters and directors.
According to investigators, Earth Infrastructures Ltd launched multiple real estate projects across Delhi-NCR and other cities under its “Earth” brand, collecting around ₹2,024 crore from more than 19,000 homebuyers and investors by promising timely delivery of housing and assured returns. However, several projects allegedly remained incomplete or were not delivered as promised.
The ED further alleged that funds were diverted for purchasing land in Delhi, Gurugram, and Rajasthan in the names of group companies and relatives, routed through shell entities, and used for unrelated business transactions. Authorities also suspect that some funds were used for personal expenses, including payments to family members and acquisition of properties through intermediary firms.
Key individuals named in the case include Avdhesh Kumar Goel, Rajnish Mittal, Atul Gupta, and Vikas Gupta. The ED said further investigation is underway to trace additional assets and examine the flow of alleged proceeds of crime through multiple linked entities.
