Delhi Police Probe Death Of 21-Year-Old Woman Stabbed Inside Tilak Nagar Home

A 21-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death inside her house in West Delhi's Tilak Nagar area, police said on Wednesday. The incident has triggered a murder investigation, with Delhi Police teams working to trace the accused, who allegedly fled the scene after the attack and remains absconding. Police are examining available evidence and questioning relevant people as they seek to establish the circumstances that led to the woman's death. According to the Delhi Police, the accused and the deceased were known to each other for some time.

"We are searching for the culprit. The police are doing their job. You will be informed as soon as further information becomes available," Gupta said. Investigators are also examining CCTV footage from the area to gather evidence about the movements of the victim and the accused. Footage from cameras installed around the locality could help investigators establish whether the accused was seen entering or leaving the area and identify the route allegedly taken after the incident. Police are examining the available recordings as part of their effort to reconstruct the events surrounding the woman's death.
