Delhi Orders Investigation Into Fortis Hospital Over Alleged Medical Care Irregularities

The Delhi government has initiated action against Fortis Hospital in Shalimar Bagh after a district administration inquiry reportedly found multiple irregularities, including alleged lapses in patient care, in connection with the death of a patient. The findings prompted authorities to recommend action against the hospital, while officials indicated that further proceedings would be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

According to an official statement issued on Thursday, the inquiry conducted by the district administration identified several alleged deficiencies in the hospital's handling of the case.
