Argentina Woman Sneaks onto Plane Over Baggage Fee Dispute, Bites Police Officer
An Argentinian woman sneaks onto a flight over a baggage dispute and bites an officer during removal.
A budget airline flight at Buenos Aires’ Jorge Newbery Airpark descended into chaos after a female passenger allegedly boarded an aircraft without clearance and later bit a police officer while being removed. The incident occurred on a JetSmart flight scheduled to travel from Buenos Aires to Cordoba and briefly delayed the flight before it eventually departed.
According to reports, the dispute began when airline staff informed the passenger that she would need to pay an additional fee for excess cabin baggage. The woman reportedly refused to pay the charge, leading to an argument at the boarding gate. Despite the disagreement, she managed to board the aircraft, prompting airport authorities to intervene.
Security personnel and police officers later entered the plane to escort the passenger off the flight. Videos circulating online showed a tense confrontation inside the cabin as officers attempted to remove her from her seat. Fellow passengers watched the incident unfold as the situation quickly escalated.

During the struggle, the woman allegedly bit a female police officer, causing alarm among passengers and crew members. Witnesses reported that travelers applauded after authorities successfully removed her from the aircraft. The incident temporarily disrupted operations but did not prevent the flight from continuing to its destination.
Authorities said the passenger sustained minor injuries and was taken to an airport clinic for medical evaluation. She has since been detained and remains under investigation, although formal charges had not been confirmed at the time of reporting. The incident has sparked discussions about passenger misconduct, airline regulations, and the handling of security situations at airports.
