13 Reportedly Killed In Israeli Strikes Targeting Areas Across Lebanon
Israeli strikes in Lebanon reportedly killed 13 people amid tensions.
Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed at least 13 people on Tuesday, according to the Lebanese health ministry, as violence along the border region continued to escalate. The fatalities included a soldier, rescue workers, civilians and a child, highlighting the growing humanitarian toll of the ongoing hostilities.
The deadliest strike was reported in the city of Nabatieh, where five people were killed. Lebanese authorities said the victims included two members of the Civil Defence rescue service who were responding to the situation in the area when the attack took place. Emergency teams were deployed to recover bodies and assist the wounded following the strike.
Another Israeli strike near the town of Jebchit reportedly killed four people, including a Lebanese soldier and a Syrian national. The health ministry said the attack targeted an area in southern Lebanon that has witnessed repeated military activity in recent weeks amid heightened cross-border tensions between Israeli forces and armed groups operating in the region.

In a separate incident in Bint Jbeil, four civilians were killed, including a child and a woman. Local officials said residential areas were affected in the strike, though details regarding the intended target or the identities of all victims were not immediately released.
The latest attacks come amid continuing exchanges of fire along the Israel-Lebanon border, where tensions have intensified alongside wider instability in the Middle East. Southern Lebanon has repeatedly witnessed Israeli strikes targeting what Israel describes as militant infrastructure and armed positions linked to regional groups operating near the frontier.
Lebanese authorities have condemned the attacks and warned that continued military escalation risks worsening the humanitarian situation in border communities already facing displacement and infrastructure damage. International concern has also grown over the possibility of the conflict expanding further across the region if diplomatic efforts fail to reduce tensions.
