Reports claim Oliver Tree killed in Brazil helicopter collision.

A helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 14 has reportedly left six people dead, with multiple international media outlets stating that singer-songwriter Oliver Tree was among those killed. However, authorities have not yet issued full official confirmation regarding all victims involved in the mid-air crash, and investigations are still underway. The incident has drawn widespread attention across the global music community due to the reported presence of high-profile individuals.

According to initial reports cited by CNN Brasil, two helicopters collided mid-air under unclear circumstances, resulting in a fatal crash that immediately triggered emergency response operations. Alongside Oliver Tree, passengers identified in reports include Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim—also known online as Argentinian YouTuber “Gaspi”—and Lucas Brito Chaves. Pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac were also listed among those believed to have died in the incident.

Local civil police have stated that a forensic examination of the crash site has been requested as part of an ongoing investigation. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision, including possible mechanical failure, communication errors, or operational lapses. Officials have not yet confirmed whether both aircraft were part of a coordinated operation or independent flights in the same airspace.
