Prakash Raj Backs CJP After School Principal's Suspension in Hingoli

Prakash Raj praises CJP after Hingoli school principal's suspension.

Actor Prakash Raj has backed the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) after a protest over the condition of a government school in Maharashtra reportedly resulted in action against its principal. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke announced what he described as a major victory for villagers in Limbala, Hingoli district, saying the principal had been suspended following the protest. Dipke said the demonstration was part of the group’s ongoing School Thik Karo campaign, which focuses on improving government schools and demanding accountability from authorities.

Prakash Raj shared Dipke’s video and praised the campaign, while also using the phrase “Dimagi bano, andhbhakt nahi” in his social media post. His remark appeared to reference the phrase “dimagi naxals” recently used by PM Modi during his Independence Day address. Prakash Raj’s post called for citizens to question the system and remain engaged rather than blindly accepting what they are told. He also credited citizens demanding accountability for the reported action against the school principal.

The protest centred on allegations about the principal’s conduct and concerns over conditions at the government school. According to Dipke, villagers had demanded action and staged a protest until their concerns were addressed. He dedicated the reported development to Abdul and his father, referring to Abdul’s call to continue working until the school was improved. The episode has brought renewed attention to challenges faced by government schools in rural areas and the role of community-led campaigns in highlighting them.

The School Thik Karo campaign was launched in Dipke’s native village in Maharashtra and has focused on problems including inadequate basic facilities in government schools. CJP has sought greater accountability and improvements in educational infrastructure. Prakash Raj has been associated with the movement since its early days and has previously participated in protests organised by the group, including demonstrations linked to student concerns over discrepancies in the NEET examination.

The actor has recently remained vocal on several public and political issues. He had questioned the Election Commission after claiming that his name had been removed from the voters’ list during the Special Intensive Revision exercise. The Election Commission said his name had not been deleted, while the Bengaluru Central City Corporation stated that his voter status had been marked as “shifted” after a change of residence and that he needed to register again.

Prakash Raj’s latest comments have therefore added further visibility to the CJP’s campaign for government-school reforms. While the reported suspension followed the villagers’ protest in Hingoli, the wider campaign is seeking attention on the condition of public education and accountability. His support has also amplified the episode on social media, where the actor continues to use his platform to comment on civic, political and public-interest issues.
