Daniel Radcliffe And Tom Felton Pose Together At Tony Awards After-Party
Harry Potter stars reunite at Tony Awards after-party.
Actors Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton, best known globally for their roles in the Harry Potter film franchise, were seen together at the 2026 Tony Awards after-party in New York City, delighting fans with a surprise reunion. The event, hosted by John Gore and Rick Miramontez at The Carlyle, brought together Broadway stars and film personalities following the annual awards ceremony.
Daniel, who played Harry Potter in the original film series, and Tom, who portrayed Draco Malfoy, appeared relaxed and all smiles as they posed for photographs together. Their reunion comes nearly 15 years after the conclusion of the Harry Potter films, which remain one of the most successful film franchises in global cinema history. Images from the event quickly circulated online, drawing strong reactions from fans of the series.
The appearance also came during a significant phase in both actors’ stage careers. Daniel earned a Tony nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor for his role as the Narrator in Every Brilliant Thing, further strengthening his reputation as a successful stage performer. Felton, meanwhile, attended the event in support of his Broadway production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, where he has reprised his role as Draco Malfoy for the stage adaptation.

Tom’s involvement in the Broadway production has drawn attention from fans, particularly as it marks his return to the character that made him globally recognisable. The play, based on the work of author J.K. Rowling, has not received Tony nominations this season. However, Tom has extended his stage run twice and is expected to remain part of the production until at least November.
The reunion also highlights the ongoing professional overlap between the two actors, who have occasionally appeared together at industry events. In previous interviews, Tom has credited Daniel as an early inspiration for his transition into theatre, noting his successful Broadway career and Tony Award win. Daniel, in turn, has continued to build a strong presence in stage performances in addition to film and television work.
The Harry Potter franchise itself is set for a new adaptation, this time as a television series for HBO Max, scheduled for release later this year and already renewed for a second season. The upcoming series will feature a new cast, including Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, alongside a supporting ensemble featuring John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu and Nick Frost, under the direction of Mark Mylod and writing by Francesca Gardiner.
