Tragic High-Speed Crash in Udaipur: 4 Teens Killed as Car Hits 140 kmph
Four teenagers die in reckless speeding incident on Udaipur highway.
A devastating car crash in Udaipur, Rajasthan, claimed the lives of four teenagers, including three minors, on Saturday night, leaving six others injured. The group of six friends was returning from a ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ programme and heading to the old Ahmedabad highway for tea when their vehicle collided head-on with another car bound for Gujarat. The victims included Mohammad Ayan (17), Adil Qureshi (14), Sher Mohammad (19), and Ghulam Khwaja (17), while the two survivors from their car and all four occupants of the other vehicle are receiving medical treatment.
A chilling nine-minute video recorded by one of the passengers captured the moments leading up to the tragedy. It shows 19-year-old Sher Mohammad driving at excessive speeds, casually smoking a cigarette with loud Haryanvi music playing and a video on the car’s screen. The speedometer crosses 120 kmph, and soon reaches 140 kmph, despite pleas from at least two friends to slow down.
The footage turns harrowing after the collision: screams, shattering glass, and darkness follow a sudden swerve and massive impact. For over two minutes, groans of pain fill the audio before one trapped friend desperately pleads for help, crying out “Bachalo bhayya… main andar phansa hua hoon, mereko saans nahin aa rahi hai” (Save me, brother… I’m stuck inside, I can’t breathe). The cries continue until the video ends.
