Three Noida Schools Get Hoax Bomb Threats Via Email, Triggering Immediate Security Responses
Three prominent Noida schools evacuated after receiving hoax bomb threat emails; police probe underway.
Panic spread across Noida in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar district on Thursday after three prominent schools received threatening emails warning of bomb blasts on their premises. The threats triggered immediate security responses, raising concern among school authorities, parents, and students. Police later confirmed that the emails were hoaxes, though investigations are ongoing.
The threat received by Step by Step School in Sector 126 prompted swift action from the administration, which evacuated students and staff as a precautionary measure. Local police teams rushed to the campus, cordoned off the area, and launched an extensive search operation to ensure the safety of everyone present.
Bomb disposal squads and dog squads were deployed to thoroughly inspect classrooms, corridors, basements, playgrounds, and other sensitive areas of the school. After hours of detailed scanning, no suspicious objects or explosive materials were found, leading authorities to officially declare the threat a hoax.

Similar bomb threat emails were also reported by Amity School and Shiv Nadar School, adding to the anxiety across the city. The near-simultaneous targeting of three well-known educational institutions intensified fears and disrupted academic activities for the day, highlighting a troubling pattern seen in recent months across the National Capital Region.
The Noida Police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, with the cyber cell tracing the origin of the emails and attempting to identify the sender’s IP address. Officials have appealed to schools and the public to remain vigilant, report suspicious activity promptly, and avoid spreading rumours that could cause unnecessary panic.
