Three High-Value Terrorists Killed in Srinagar Firefight

Security forces neutralize key targets in ongoing operation.

In a significant operation near Srinagar, three high-value foreign terrorists were neutralized by security forces in an intense firefight at Lidwas, located in the Mulnar area of Harwan, the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps announced on X. The joint operation, named Operation Mahadev, involves the Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Jammu and Kashmir Police, and was launched based on precise intelligence inputs.

The encounter began early Monday, with security forces engaging the terrorists in a fierce battle. The Chinar Corps reported, “Three terrorists have been neutralised in an intense firefight. Operation Continues,” indicating ongoing efforts to secure the area. Reinforcements have been deployed, and a thorough combing exercise is underway to ensure no threats remain.

Sources confirmed the eliminated terrorists were high-value targets, underscoring the operation’s critical importance. The operation reflects the security forces’ commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir, with further updates expected as the situation develops.
