Teen Girl Killed by Spurned Lover in UP Village

In a chilling incident that has rocked Boudha village in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district, a 19-year-old man named Samun was arrested for the brutal murder of a 14-year-old girl, police confirmed on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The gruesome crime, driven by unrequited love, unfolded within the confines of the victim’s own home under the jurisdiction of Chhaprauli police station.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police N P Singh, Samun entered the girl’s house on Wednesday with malicious intent. Enraged by her rejection of his romantic advances, he attacked her with a shovel, striking her fatally. The accused confessed during interrogation that he had feelings for the girl, but she did not reciprocate. His anger escalated when she refused his attempt to force physical relations, leading to the violent act.
In a disturbing twist, Samun attempted to conceal his crime by burying the girl’s body inside her house. However, the victim’s family members arrived at the scene, interrupting his efforts. They immediately alerted the authorities, who swiftly apprehended the suspect.

ASP Singh stated that the girl’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine further details of the cause of death. The police are continuing their investigation to uncover any additional motives or circumstances surrounding the case.
The incident has left the close-knit community of Boudha village in shock, raising concerns about safety and the vulnerability of young girls. Local residents have expressed grief and outrage, demanding justice for the victim and stricter measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
