Speeding SUV rams bikes in Telangana; security guard dies on impact, CCTV records incident.
A fatal road accident in Telangana’s Nalgonda district left one man dead and another critically injured after a speeding SUV rammed into multiple two-wheelers on Thursday, in a collision that was caught on CCTV and has since gone viral.
According to police, a red Maruti Brezza was seen speeding on a busy stretch of road before the driver reportedly lost control and crashed into a bike carrying two people. The impact was severe enough to throw both riders onto the road, while their two-wheeler was dragged several metres, breaking apart on impact.
In a second impact moments later, the out-of-control vehicle struck another man, identified as a security guard who was waiting on his bike by the roadside. He died on the spot due to the force of the collision. Another victim, Dhanawat Bhaskar, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a government hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

The CCTV footage also shows chaotic moments on the highway, including unsafe movement by several road users and possible negligence in crossing the busy stretch. Police officials noted that both speeding and lack of road discipline contributed to the severity of the incident.
The impact of the crash was so strong that the SUV was heavily damaged and left mangled at the accident site. Locals gathered quickly after the incident, creating tense scenes as authorities arrived to control the situation and clear the road.
Following the accident, relatives of the deceased staged a protest on the Nandipadu bypass along the Narketpally road, demanding immediate compensation for the victim’s family. The protest led to temporary traffic congestion in the area before police intervened to restore order.
Authorities have registered a case against the SUV driver, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident, including overspeeding and possible negligence.
