Shocking Newborn Kidnapping Plot Thwarted at Karnataka Hospital!

A brazen attempt to snatch a newborn from the Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) was dramatically stopped by vigilant attendants and visitors in the early hours of Wednesday, police reported.
A group of suspects, some disguised in saris, sneaked into the hospital’s maternity ward on the fourth floor, exploiting the quiet hours when most attendants were asleep. One individual attempted to abduct a baby but was quickly spotted by alert bystanders. After a tense scuffle, the suspect, revealed to be posing as a woman, was apprehended and handed over to the authorities at Market Police Station.
Police suspect two accomplices were involved, but they managed to escape the scene. Concerns have been raised about hospital security, as eyewitnesses noted the absence of home guard personnel during the incident.
