SBI CBO Recruitment 2026: 2050 Posts Open For Experienced Graduates

The State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a major recruitment drive for the position of Circle Based Officer (CBO), aiming to fill 2,050 vacancies across its various circles nationwide. The official notification for the recruitment was released on January 28, 2026, with the online application process beginning on January 29, 2026, on SBI’s official website, sbi.bank.in.
Eligible candidates with relevant banking experience are invited to apply online. SBI has made it clear that applications submitted through offline channels will not be accepted, and the online application window will remain open until February 18, 2026. Eligibility criteria for the CBO posts include holding a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Professionals with degrees in engineering, medicine, chartered accountancy, or cost accountancy are also eligible to apply. The bank emphasises that only those meeting these educational qualifications will be considered.
