RCB's Yash Dayal Accused of Raping Minor: Allegations Surface
RCB pacer Yash Dayal faces serious rape allegations.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal, aged 27, is under scrutiny following an FIR filed against him in Jaipur for the alleged rape of a minor. The complaint, lodged at Sanganer Sadar police station on Wednesday, invokes charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
According to Station House Officer Anil Jaiman, the victim claims the assaults occurred first in 2023, when she was 17, and again in April 2025 at a hotel in Jaipur’s Sitapura area. The complainant alleges Dayal lured her with promises of career support, contacting her during his IPL stint in Jaipur this year, where the second incident reportedly took place. The investigation is ongoing, and Dayal has yet to comment on the allegations.
This is not the first accusation against the Uttar Pradesh-born cricketer. A separate case in Ghaziabad accuses him of sexually exploiting a woman over a five-year relationship, promising marriage before allegedly abusing her.

Dayal, a medium pacer, debuted for Uttar Pradesh in 2018, taking 84 wickets in 27 first-class matches and 66 wickets in 71 T20 games. His IPL journey began with Gujarat Titans in 2022, followed by a Rs 5 crore move to RCB in 2024. Retained for the 2025 season, he played a pivotal role in RCB’s trophy-winning campaign led by Rajat Patidar.
The allegations cast a shadow over Dayal’s rising career as authorities continue their probe into the serious charges.
