PM Modi Begins Two-Day Assam Visit, To Inaugurate ₹19,000 Crore Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched down in Guwahati for a dynamic two-day visit to Assam, packed with high-profile events and transformative initiatives. The highlight of day one was a moving tribute to legendary singer Bhupen Hazarika at the centenary celebrations held at Veterinary Ground in Khanapara, Guwahati. Fresh from his engagements in Manipur’s Churachandpur and Imphal, Modi headed straight to the event, captivating attendees with his presence.
On Sunday, the PM will unleash a wave of development, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for projects worth over ₹19,000 crore. His itinerary includes stops at Mangaldoi in Darrang district and Numaligarh refinery in Golaghat, where he’ll address enthusiastic crowds at public meetings. Modi will wrap up his visit and depart for Kolkata from Jorhat airport, leaving Assam buzzing with progress.
