Nagpur Bodybuilder’s Shocking Drug Bust: BJP Leader’s Son Caught with Mephedrone!

Sanjay Buggewar, a 29-year-old Nagpur resident and renowned bodybuilder, was arrested by Ganeshpeth police for allegedly possessing 16.05 grams of mephedrone near the Ganeshpeth bus terminus.

Known for winning multiple bodybuilding competitions and running a fitness nutrition business, Buggewar reportedly fell into drug addiction after associating with narcotics dealers. He is the son of former BJP corporator Ajay Buggewar, adding a political dimension to the case.

During interrogation, Buggewar named Pranay Bajare, 25, as his accomplice, who remains at large. A case has been filed under the NDPS Act, and Buggewar is in police custody until July 15. The arrest has sparked widespread discussion in Nagpur’s political and fitness communities.
