MURDERED FOR A TOY! MAN NABBED FOR KILLING 3-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN THANE

A chilling crime has rocked Taloja, Navi Mumbai, where Mohammad Ansari was arrested on March 27 for allegedly murdering his neighbor’s 3-year-old daughter. Police suspect the brutal act stemmed from a petty spat over toys between Ansari’s wife and the child’s mother, escalating into a tragedy that has stunned the community.

Zone II Deputy Commissioner of Police Prashant Mohite Patil revealed Ansari, a mobile gaming addict who recently lost Rs 40,000, killed the girl and hid her body in a bag, stashing it on the toilet seat of her own home. In a twisted bid to cover his tracks, he then demanded ransom from the girl’s father, Amrish Sharma, pretending she’d been kidnapped. Sharma’s quick alert to authorities unraveled the ruse, leading police straight to Ansari, who has since confessed.
