Mother and son die in tragic fall from 13th floor in Noida.

A devastating incident occurred in Ace City, a residential complex in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, where Sakshi Chawla, 38, and her 12-year-old son, Daksh Chawla, lost their lives after falling from the 13th floor of their apartment building on Saturday morning. According to Bisrakh police station in-charge Inspector Manoj Kumar Singh, the tragedy unfolded when Daksh, who suffered from mental health challenges, ran toward the balcony of their flat in an apparent attempt to jump.

In a desperate bid to save her son, Sakshi Chawla rushed after him, but both mother and son tragically fell from the balcony, resulting in their deaths. The incident took place while Daksh’s father, Darpan Chawla, was in another room of the apartment, unaware of the unfolding tragedy. The sudden and heartbreaking event has left the community in shock, with residents grappling with the loss of the mother and son.

Local authorities have initiated a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The bodies of Sakshi and Daksh have been sent for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. Police are also examining the safety measures in the building to assess whether any structural or security lapses contributed to the tragedy. The incident underscores the need for heightened mental health awareness and support, as well as enhanced safety protocols in high-rise residential complexes.
