Minor Abducted From Road To School, Gangraped In Alwar; One Arrested
Minor abducted and gangraped in Alwar; one accused arrested, police continue search for remaining suspects.
A 15-year-old girl was abducted and gangraped by three men while walking to school in a village in Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Thursday, police said. The prime accused, Rahul Saini, has been arrested, and a search is underway for two other suspects. All three accused are from Baswa town in Dausa district, officials confirmed.
According to a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, the incident occurred when a Bolero vehicle pulled up beside the girl as she walked to school. Two occupants dragged her into the vehicle, tied her hands, and blindfolded her. A third youth was picked up along the way. The accused then took the minor to an undisclosed location where she was gangraped in a room. The victim stated that the men also recorded compromising photographs and videos of her and threatened to kill her brother if she disclosed the assault to anyone.
The abduction was witnessed by other school students, who alerted villagers. A crowd quickly gathered in response. After the assault, the accused attempted to drop the victim off and flee. On seeing the approaching villagers, they abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot. The mob then set the Bolero on fire. Raini police arrived at the scene, took custody of the burnt vehicle, and transported it to the Raini Police Station.

Police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The victim has undergone a medical examination and her statement has been recorded in court. Following the arrest of prime accused Rahul Saini, investigators recovered several obscene videos of other girls from his mobile phone. The case is being investigated by Rajgarh DSP Manisha Meena.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary said the incident is being investigated with “utmost seriousness” and that a dedicated team is working to apprehend the two absconding suspects. Police have not released the identities of the remaining accused. The investigation remains ongoing.
