In a shocking turn of events, 26-year-old D. Naveen allegedly stormed into the home of 43-year-old Lakshmi and her 20-year-old daughter, Nakka Deepika, wielding a knife in a fit of rage. Lakshmi succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while Deepika, gravely wounded, was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment.
Police Commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi revealed a twisted tale of unrequited love at the heart of the tragedy. Naveen, who had been infatuated with Deepika for six years and harbored dreams of marrying her, reportedly snapped after her father urged him to wait a year due to concerns over his behavior. Unable to accept the delay, Naveen turned his obsession into a deadly assault, shattering a family in an instant.

The accused remains on the run and a special team has been formed to nab him.
