The Indian Navy has opened applications for the prestigious 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission), inviting unmarried male and female candidates to join as officers in the Executive and Technical branches. This four-year B.Tech programme, commencing in July 2026 at the renowned Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala, offers a unique blend of engineering education and military training, paving the way for a rewarding career safeguarding India’s maritime interests.

A total of 44 vacancies are available (with a maximum of 6-7 reserved for women candidates). Eligibility requires passing the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), plus 50% marks in English (in Class X or XII). Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025, as shortlisting for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews will be based on the All India Common Rank List (CRL). Age limit is between 02 July 2006 and 01 January 2009 (both dates inclusive), with applicants being unmarried.
