KDSG Super Speciality Hospital Dadri: Yogi Inaugurates Rs 200 Crore Facility With Kapil Dev Present
The 300-bed KDSG hospital in Dadri will offer advanced cardiology, oncology and neurology services to NCR residents.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated the KDSG Super Speciality Hospital in the Dadri area of Greater Noida, marking a significant addition to healthcare infrastructure in the National Capital Region. During the event, the chief minister inspected the hospital premises and interacted with doctors and administrators to review the quality of healthcare services and facilities available at the newly established institution. The inauguration ceremony was attended by former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev; Gautam Buddh Nagar Member of Parliament Mahesh Sharma; and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath stressed the importance of doctors maintaining confidence and a positive attitude while treating patients. Drawing an analogy from cricket, he referred to Kapil Dev’s influence on the field during his playing days, noting that opposing teams often felt psychologically pressured when the legendary bowler stepped in to bowl. In a similar way, he said, when doctors approach patients with confidence and reassurance, it can significantly contribute to the healing process and improve patient outcomes.
The chief minister also highlighted the role of faith and emotional support in recovery, stating that the combination of medicine and prayers can accelerate healing. According to him, when medical treatment is complemented by compassion and faith, patients recover faster and hospitals gain greater trust among the public. He described the establishment of the KDSG Super Speciality Hospital as an important step toward strengthening access to advanced medical services for residents of the National Capital Region and surrounding areas.

Emphasising the importance of accessible healthcare, Yogi Adityanath said quality medical treatment is a fundamental need for every citizen. While the government is working to expand healthcare infrastructure across the state, he noted that the participation of private institutions is also essential to ensure wider availability of specialised services and improved healthcare delivery systems.
Highlighting the impact of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief minister said the scheme has emerged as one of the largest healthcare initiatives in the world. He noted that nearly 60 crore people across India are benefiting from the programme, while more than five crore golden cards have been issued in Uttar Pradesh alone, enabling eligible families to avail free medical treatment of up to ₹5 lakh.
The KDSG Super Speciality Hospital has been built at an estimated cost of around ₹200 crore and has a capacity of 300 beds. The facility is equipped with modern medical infrastructure and will provide advanced treatment in fields such as cardiology, oncology and neurology, along with high-tech surgical capabilities. Officials said the hospital is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for nearly 1,000 people in the region while strengthening access to specialised healthcare services in western Uttar Pradesh.
