Kanpur Lamborghini Crash: Driver's Bouncers Block Angry Crowd After Injuries

Shivam Mishra allegedly rams a Lamborghini into pedestrians in Kanpur; bouncers help him flee.

At least six people were injured on Sunday after a Lamborghini allegedly driven by Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco businessman K.K. Mishra, rammed into pedestrians, an auto-rickshaw, and parked two-wheelers in the Gwaltoli area of the city. The incident occurred near the Rev-3 mall, triggering panic and chaos at a busy intersection, police officials said.

Eyewitnesses said the luxury vehicle, identified as a Lamborghini Revuelto, first collided with an auto-rickshaw before crashing into a parked Royal Enfield motorcycle. The impact reportedly threw the motorcyclist several feet into the air. The car then mounted the motorcycle’s front wheel, dragged it for a short distance, and eventually came to a halt after striking an electric pole.

Instead of stopping at the scene, Mishra allegedly attempted to flee with the help of his bouncers, who were following him in a separate vehicle. Videos circulating from the spot showed security personnel escorting him away while attempting to shield him from the swelling crowd. Locals claimed the bouncers behaved aggressively while trying to move him out of the area.

The situation escalated as angry residents gathered at the site, smashing the Lamborghini’s windows and forcibly pulling Mishra out of the car. Police reached the scene soon after and carried out crowd control operations. Mishra, along with those injured in the crash, was taken to a private hospital for medical treatment, officials confirmed.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Atul Kumar Srivastava said the accident took place around 3:15 pm. The damaged Lamborghini was seized and taken to the police station. The vehicle is registered in Rohini, northwest Delhi, and bears the number ‘4018’, a registration reportedly used on several of Mishra’s luxury cars. Police said further investigation is underway, including allegations of rash driving and possible intoxication at the time of the incident.
