The horrifying assault scandal which erupted in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district after CCTV footage went viral showing BJP Nagod Mandal President Pulkit Tandon brutally attacking a young beauty parlour worker and her mother late Tuesday night, January 27, 2026. The 24-year-old survivor, employed at a parlour adjacent to Tandon's warehouse, alleges he lured her under false pretenses of makeup work, then grabbed, threw her down, and beat her mercilessly while hurling casteist slurs.
The footage—shared thousands of times by Wednesday morning—captures Tandon shoving the woman violently as she resists, followed by chaos when her mother (48) and brother rush in. Tandon allegedly snatched and smashed the brother's phone during video attempt, then punched the mother causing nasal fractures and bruises. Nagod Police registered FIR No. 57/2026 under BNS Sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 79 (criminal force on woman), 351(2) (criminal intimidation), and 196 (common intention) against Tandon and associate Rajkumar Namdev.
Additional SP Prem Lal Kurve confirmed: "Victim's medical exam shows contusions, scratches; Tandon detained for questioning. Raids ongoing at warehouse yielding torn clothes, broken phone." The survivor detailed in complaint: "He locked doors, said 'tu meri biwi banegi,' then assaulted when I screamed. Mother bore head injuries intervening."
