#JUSTIN: Bomb Threats Hit Over 10 Schools in Delhi, Searches Underway
Over 10 Delhi schools receive bomb threat emails, triggering evacuations and searches.
At least ten schools across Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday, prompting immediate evacuations and large-scale security operations, officials said. The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) confirmed that emergency calls were received from multiple educational institutions across the city during the morning hours.
Fire tenders, bomb detection and disposal squads, and dog squads were quickly dispatched to all affected schools to carry out extensive security checks. Authorities described the searches as “thorough and ongoing,” with teams ensuring that all premises are cleared before students and staff can return.
All schools were evacuated as a precautionary measure, and authorities are working closely with school administrations to maintain order and safety. Parents were informed about the threats, and no injuries have been reported so far.

The DFS stated that this coordinated response aims to swiftly assess any potential danger and prevent panic. “A total of ten schools received bomb threats today. Fire service teams immediately reached the premises, and checking is underway,” a DFS official said.
Police have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the emails and identify the individuals behind the threats. Cybercrime and intelligence units are also involved, examining email metadata and communications for leads.
Authorities urged students, staff, and parents to remain calm and follow official instructions while security operations continue. The incident highlights the need for heightened vigilance and preparedness in educational institutions in the capital.
