J&K Police Expose LeT’s Pan-India Logistics Network Using Forged Documents

The Jammu and Kashmir Police has uncovered a wide-ranging logistical network linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, spanning multiple states across India. The probe has revealed the use of fake PAN cards, forged passports, and other fabricated identity documents to facilitate movement, funding, and operational support.

According to officials, the network functioned as a support system for operatives, enabling them to travel across states, open bank accounts, and evade detection. Investigators found that forged documents were used to create seemingly legitimate identities, helping members blend into civilian populations while coordinating activities discreetly.

The police said the operation involved coordinated efforts across several regions, with links traced to handlers and facilitators operating both within and outside Jammu and Kashmir. Raids and arrests in connection with the case have yielded crucial evidence, including digital records, communication trails, and forged identification materials.
