Iran Embassy in Malaysia shared a satirical video targeting US President Trump over Strait of Hormuz tensions.
A social media post shared by the Iran Embassy in Malaysia has drawn widespread attention online after it used sharp language and a satirical video to criticise US President Donald Trump. The post, shared on X, included both a provocative message and an animated clip that quickly began circulating across social media platforms. The content has sparked reactions due to its political tone and portrayal of international tensions.
In the post, the embassy wrote, “Get straight out of Hormuz, Little orange man!”, referring to Donald Trump. The message used a mocking nickname alongside a reference to the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a key maritime route for global oil shipments. The wording and tone of the post have been widely interpreted as satirical and critical in nature.
Along with the text, the embassy shared a video featuring a rap-style soundtrack titled “Little Orange Man.” The animated clip uses a stylised, Lego-like visual format and depicts a fictional scenario involving ships, soldiers, and a treasure map. In the video, a character resembling Trump is shown as a ship captain navigating the ocean with a group of soldiers portrayed in a pirate-like setting.

The Strait of Hormuz is then visually depicted in the video, with the route eventually being closed off, leaving the character resembling Trump stranded at sea. The sequence appears designed to symbolically represent geopolitical tensions and maritime control, using exaggerated imagery to deliver its message in a satirical form.
This is not the first time Iranian-linked social media accounts have used animated or creative content to comment on US political figures. Earlier, another Lego-style video was shared online that also mocked Trump in the context of a separate incident in Washington. Such posts have increasingly become part of digital diplomatic messaging, blending political commentary with viral-style content aimed at global audiences.
