Indian Creators Embrace Gen AI: 97% Say It’s Fueling Growth, Adobe Survey Reveals
Adobe’s Creators’ Toolkit Report shows overwhelming optimism among Indian creators towards generative AI tools.
Adobe’s inaugural Creators’ Toolkit Report highlights a strong embrace of generative AI among content creators worldwide, with Indian creators showing particularly high enthusiasm. Surveying over 16,000 creators from eight countries—including India, the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and Australia—the study focused on emerging and semi-professional creators who regularly publish digital content to engage audiences on social platforms. Conducted in partnership with The Harris Poll in September 2025, the report examines how generative AI and mobile tools are reshaping creative workflows.
In India, the outlook is strikingly positive: 97% of surveyed creators believe generative AI has had a beneficial impact on the creator economy. An impressive 95% reported that AI tools accelerated their business growth and expanded their follower base, while 85% said the technology enabled them to produce content they otherwise couldn’t have created. Globally, 99% of participants are already using AI tools in their processes, reflecting widespread adoption across editing, enhancement, image and video generation, ideation, and brainstorming.
The report also explores excitement around the next wave of AI—agentic AI, which can act autonomously and learn individual styles. A resounding 90% of creators expressed optimism about its future potential, and 96% indicated they would adopt AI agents capable of mimicking their unique creative voice. Common applications include upscaling and editing existing content, generating new visuals and videos, and sparking ideas during the creative process.

Despite the enthusiasm, concerns persist. Around 78% of creators worry about their work being used to train AI models without consent or compensation. Other issues include high costs of premium tools, inconsistent output quality, and lack of transparency regarding training data and model development. These reservations highlight the need for ethical frameworks as AI integration deepens in creative industries.
Overall, the findings underscore generative AI’s role as a powerful growth driver for creators, especially in markets like India where digital content creation is booming. Adobe positions the report as a snapshot of how tools like Firefly and other AI features are empowering creators to work faster, reach wider audiences, and explore new forms of expression.
