Hyderabad Aston Martin Crash: MP Says Son Took Victim to Hospital

MP Ramesh says son cooperating with police after fatal Hyderabad car crash.

Andhra Pradesh Rajya Sabha MP and Jana Sena Party leader Lingamaneni Ramesh has addressed the road accident in Hyderabad that resulted in the death of 26-year-old Bharati Mukhi, after his 21-year-old son, Lingamaneni Sanjush, was named as the accused in the case involving an Aston Martin. The accident occurred on August 16 near Inorbit Mall in the Madhapur area. Ramesh expressed condolences to Mukhi’s family and said the incident was deeply unfortunate and heartbreaking.

Ramesh said his family stands with the bereaved family and would provide all possible support during the difficult period. At the same time, he urged people not to speculate about the circumstances surrounding the crash or reach conclusions before the investigation is completed. He said the authorities should be allowed to establish the complete facts and determine what happened in the accident through the legal process.

According to Ramesh, Sanjush was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred and immediately took the injured woman to a hospital. He subsequently reported the incident to the police and provided the authorities with the required information. Ramesh also said that three separate medical tests were conducted on his son and that all three returned negative results. He added that Sanjush is cooperating with the investigation being conducted by the authorities.

Police have registered a case against Sanjush under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for allegedly causing death by a rash or negligent act. The case relates to the death of Mukhi, who worked at a store and was fatally struck by the Aston Martin in the Madhapur area. The circumstances surrounding the collision and the events immediately before and after the crash remain part of the investigation.

Ramesh rejected any suggestion that his family had attempted to avoid the legal process or conceal information from investigators. He said his son had followed the procedures required by the authorities and that the family has respect for the law. The MP also assured that he would extend complete cooperation to the police and said he had confidence that a fair and impartial investigation would establish the truth.

The MP also appealed to the public to respect the victim’s family and refrain from circulating unverified claims about the accident. He said false or speculative information could add to the distress of those already dealing with the loss. Ramesh maintained that the investigation should be allowed to proceed without outside interference and that the legal process would determine responsibility based on the available evidence.

The accident has drawn attention because of the vehicle involved and the accused’s family background, but Ramesh stressed that the case should be assessed through the evidence collected by investigators. He reiterated his condolences to Mukhi’s family and said his family would cooperate with the authorities at every stage. The police investigation remains underway as officials examine the circumstances of the crash and the allegations against Sanjush.
