Horrific Murder Uncovered! Man Caught Transporting Wife’s Body in Pune

A chilling crime came to light in Maharashtra’s Pune district when police intercepted a 28-year-old man transporting his wife’s body on a scooter in the early hours of Tuesday.

The gruesome discovery followed a tip-off that led authorities to the suspect in the Nanded City area, unraveling a tragic case of domestic violence turned deadly.

The accused, Rakesh Nishar, a labourer from Uttar Pradesh, allegedly strangled his 26-year-old wife, Babita, during a heated domestic dispute at their apartment in Dhayari.

In a desperate attempt to conceal the crime, Nishar stuffed Babita’s body into a gunny sack and attempted to transport it on his two-wheeler. However, a vigilant police patrolling team, acting on a call received around 1:30 am, stopped him and discovered the shocking contents of the sack.

“The suspect was intercepted based on precise information from our control room. The woman’s body was found concealed in a gunny sack,” a police official stated. Nishar was promptly arrested and charged under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the grim reality of domestic violence. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover further details about the circumstances leading to the murder.
