Haji Mastan's Daughter Reveals Rape Motivated by Father's Wealth and Seeks PM Intervention
Haji Mastan's daughter alleges rape and forced marriage at 12 for property greed.
Haseen Mastan Mirza, daughter of the late underworld figure Haji Mastan, has come forward alleging sexual abuse, forced marriage, and illegal property grabs, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to ensure justice. She stated that her ordeal began after her father’s death and involved her maternal uncle’s son, Naseer Hussain, who allegedly attempted to sexually assault her and forced her into marriage at just 12 years old in 1996.
Haseen revealed that she faced sustained mental and physical abuse, was deprived of her inheritance, and was repeatedly threatened due to her father’s wealth. “If I hadn’t been born as the daughter of Haji Mastan, I wouldn’t have faced these challenges. The culprits saw money. My father died, and they thought they could get all our money,” she said, alleging her ex-husband admitted raping her for the same reason.
Despite the trauma, Haseen stressed that she does not want her father’s name tarnished. She highlighted his charitable contributions and insisted that her fight for justice is in his honor. She recounted multiple instances of police inaction, including during a miscarriage at age 14, and claimed that financial constraints have prevented her from pursuing the case consistently since 2013.

Haseen also described the long-term mental impact of her experiences, including a suicide attempt in 2010 after her divorce. She dismissed any political ambitions, stating that she merely wants authorities to act on her case and implement stricter laws to protect women from similar abuses.
She praised certain law-and-order initiatives, such as UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s actions against criminals, and suggested similar measures should be taken in Mumbai. Haseen also spoke in support of the triple talaq ban, describing it as a step forward for women’s rights, while appealing for stronger legal protections against misuse of religious laws.
Through a recent video on Instagram, Haseen reiterated her plea for justice, emphasizing the need for intervention from top leaders to ensure her case is not sidelined. Her call highlights the broader issues of women’s safety, inheritance rights, and the challenges victims face in seeking justice in India.
