Goldy Brar Wanted: FBI Offers $50,000 Reward In Hardeep Nijjar Murder Investigation
FBI announces reward for Goldy Brar arrest
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has placed Indian-origin gangster Satinderjeet Singh, alias Goldy Brar, on its Most Wanted list and announced a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to his arrest. The development came after the US Department of Justice charged Brar along with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in connection with the 2023 assassination of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.According to the FBI notice, Brar is wanted for his alleged involvement with the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group, which authorities claim has been linked to several violent activities across the United States and Canada.
The alleged crimes listed in the notice include assassinations of political and religious figures, shootings, murders, kidnappings, extortion, assaults and illegal trafficking of narcotics and weapons. The FBI described Satinderjeet Singh as an alleged leader of the organised crime group’s operations in North America. The agency’s notice stated that Singh is believed to be based in the United States and is accused of playing a significant role in coordinating criminal activities linked to the group. The announcement follows action by US authorities against Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi over their alleged involvement in the Nijjar murder case.
Nijjar, a prominent figure associated with the Khalistan movement, was shot dead outside a gurdwara in Surrey, Canada, in June 2023. The killing had triggered a diplomatic dispute between Canada and India after allegations were made regarding possible links to Indian agents, which New Delhi rejected. Brar is already listed among the most wanted individuals by Indian investigative agencies, including the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Punjab Police. Both agencies have announced separate cash rewards for information that could help authorities locate and arrest him.

Indian agencies have for several years accused Brar of involvement in organised criminal activities and have linked him to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang network. His name gained wider attention after he claimed responsibility for the killing of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022, though multiple agencies have investigated the case from various angles. The FBI’s latest reward announcement reflects increased cooperation between international law enforcement agencies in tackling organised crime networks operating across borders.
Authorities in India, the US and Canada have been investigating alleged criminal networks involved in violent crimes, extortion and other illegal activities. With Brar now appearing on the FBI’s Most Wanted list, US authorities have urged individuals with credible information about his whereabouts or activities to come forward. The reward offer is intended to assist investigators in locating and apprehending him as international efforts to track alleged members of organised crime groups continue.
