Maternal Uncle and Aunt Give Statement in Agarwal Murder Investigation
Family members give statements to police in Ketan Agarwal murder investigation.
The investigation into the alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal has turned attention to the role of the Mittal family, who had helped arrange his marriage with Siya Goyal. Police questioned Narendra Mittal and his wife, Renu Mittal, Siya's maternal uncle and aunt, as part of the ongoing probe. According to investigators, the couple said they were shocked by the allegations against their niece and claimed they had no knowledge of her alleged relationship with Chetan Chaudhary.
Police allege that Siya Goyal was in a relationship with Chetan Chaudhary and viewed her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, as an obstacle. Investigators claim that during a visit to a fort, Siya allegedly signalled Chaudhary, who then pushed Agarwal off a cliff, leading to his death. The allegations form the basis of the police investigation, and the case remains under judicial scrutiny.
According to sources, Narendra Mittal told investigators that both Siya and Ketan appeared well-mannered and humble, and that the family had never imagined Siya could be involved in such a crime. The couple, who played a key role in arranging the marriage, said they had known Siya since childhood and were unaware of any relationship between her and Chaudhary. They have recorded their statements with the police as part of the investigation.
